Why go
The Dar Menebhi palace was restored in the 1990s and turned into a museum of Moroccan arts and temporary exhibitions. The building is the main attraction: a vast covered courtyard with zellige, carved plaster and an enormous chandelier.
Visit it with the madrasa next door; it is a good place to spend the hot middle of the day.
Tips
- Pair it with Ben Youssef Madrasa, two minutes away.
- The old hammam rooms at the back are often skipped.
